Who is Forest School for?

Fireside Forest School is particularly suited to those of us who can’t or don’t want to learn in the classroom

Fireside Forest School is particularly suited to those of us who can’t or don’t want to learn in the classroom.

It is for everyone. If you are old enough to walk and young enough to still play and try something new then Fireside Forest School can help you learn something valuable.

Particularly suited to those of us who can’t or don’t want to learn in the classroom, Fireside Forest School provides an environment where a fresh start can be made and self-esteem and self-confidence can be built up and restored.

For young people whose experience of school has been negative, Fireside Forest School can help reintegrate them into education and inspire them to want to learn, to trust, to gain self-confidence and believe in their ability to succeed.

We are especially suited to young people at risk, excluded, traumatised or confused.
For anyone who needs to learn something real and natural, something dependable, something beautiful, something fun, inspiring, (and maybe even magical) Fireside Forest School can help.

At the other extreme we can help celebrate and commemorate. Coming together for birthdays, special days and to note achievements, in ceremony and rites of passage, under the canopy of the forest and the warmth of a fire – we can all feel connected to our heritage and an integrated part of our world.
